It was during our road trip from Poitiers to Angers then to Brittany that we spent our last days in La Rochelle. We really like this city and we took the opportunity to do Terra Aventura walks as well as to discover the many restaurants with vegan options. The first evening, when we arrived in La Rochelle, we had dinner at GAYA, the Pierre Gagnaire restaurant of our hotel La Grande Terrasse.

The hotel La Grande Terrasse being very large, it was difficult to enjoy a cozy atmosphere, especially since the people behind us were rather noisy. Nevertheless, we appreciated our pretty view of the ocean, very nice waiters as well as the effort made to offer us a quality vegan menu. So thank you to the chef of the GAYA restaurant in La Rochelle for offering us tasty dishes.

We really enjoyed …

The princess loved

She really loves it when she does not know what she is going to eat for dinner or lunch in a gourmet restaurant. When every dish is a surprise, she’s over the moon. And then, being able to put on a beautiful dress is always an opportunity to rejoice.

Her parents liked

We thank the restaurant GAYA Pierre Gagnaire for the attention given to our meal. We felt that the chef really wanted to please us. From start to finish, we didn’t feel like we were “having less”. Everything was colorful, tasty and creative. The fruit dessert was really nice and fresh. Everything had been thought out for us, and this evening was very nice.
