Some places surprise you with their decoration, others by the creativity of their menu and others by their vacuity, but that’s another story … And then, there are places like Paradoxe restaurant by Christophe Girardot. Located in a popular neighborhood, between supermarkets and large buildings, it is highly unlikely to go there by chance. And that’s where the name of the restaurant comes from: a “paradox” which surprises as much as it inspires. Because let’s be clear, the “wow” effect is undoubtedly there.

Once the element of surprise is over, all you have to do is enter this “house / restaurant” to be “somewhere e,lse” which suggests that you are going to live an amazing adventure. Far from Bordeaux, in Cenon, Christophe Girardot has only one desire: being able to make you happy!

We really enjoyed …

The princess loved

The princess really liked her (already) three experiences at the Paradoxe restaurant. Why is that? She says that she loves the place, the chef and of course, the delicious “tomato pasta”. It is her favorite main course all over the world! She also really enjoyed our lunch outside, with the deckchairs. Since then, she constantly asks to go back “to Christophe’s place”.

Her parents liked

We have become fans of Paradoxe restaurant. We literally LOVE Christophe Girardot, his kindness and his talent. For us, vegan, booking means knowing that we will be amazed, that we will be pampered and that our many courses will inevitably leave us with wonderful memories. Never the same, never disappointing, our lunches are always an explosion of flavors and colors.

The waitresses and waiters are also amazing. Always smiling, present, efficient, we feel so good that we could stay for hours, as if we were “at home”.
