We spent a few days in Barcelona to discover the unmissable Sagrada Familia, but also to try out the many vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants in the city. And among them, we made a very very nice discovery during a dinner at Rasoterra. It offers a plant-based cuisine, but it also emphasizes local products and natural wines. It was a magnificent experience.
At the end of August 2021, we were still in the middle of the Covid-19 period, and restaurants were struggling to fill up in Barcelona. Nevertheless, that evening Rasoterra was full and we loved the atmosphere of the place. Clearly, this is a restaurant where you feel at home. We chatted with the owners as if we had known them forever. And how marvelous is this tasty cuisine, with simple but yet amazing ingredients.

We really enjoyed …

The princess loved
She really enjoyed her evening at Rasoterra and everyone spoke to her in French and Spanish, so she was able to respond in both languages. She LOVED the pasta dish!
Her parents liked
We will happily go to Rasoterra next time we are in Barcelona! All the dishes were hearty, delicious, prepared with great generosity. We were also charmed by their knowledge of natural wine.
An excellent evening at Rasoterra, with simple people who want to share their love for natural products.
