It seemed impossible not to go to Rennes during a stay in Brittany. Even if clearly, we didn’t really fall in love with this city, we had the pleasure of discovering a very nice hotel there, the Balthazar Hotel & Spa. Another place that caught our attention, was the vegan restaurant Stoïque and its very good dishes.
In Rennes, Stoïque is a very small restaurant and you risk passing in front of it without even seeing it! A word of advice, book your table, because if it rains, which is not uncommon in Brittany, the seats inside will quickly be taken. Basically, I think that the vegan restaurant Stoïque can only accommodate a maximum of ten people.
We really enjoyed …
The princess loved
The princess really liked the many savory proposals at Stoïque Rennes, and in particular the hummus and the finger food.
Her parents liked
We really appreciated the kindness of the staff and the service as well as the generosity. At Stoïque Rennes, the dishes are homemade, based on fresh products and whole ingredients: rice, legumes, fresh vegetables, sprouted seeds. The idea is to demonstrate that you can eat healthy but also tasty vegan food.
Admittedly, Stoïque restaurant is very small, a bit like a micro place, but it feels good and we came back in the evening, because we found that the address corresponded perfectly to our expectations, for healthy dishes, hearty and full of flavor.
