It is our favorite hotel before a departure to California. Systematically, in an almost ritualistic way, we spend a night at the Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Center. There is something magic in the Sheraton Hotel in Roissy: it is incredibly soundproofed and overlooks the airstrips. You just have to turn off all the lights to see the planes take off and land very close to you. A very simple pleasure that changes the whole experience.

The Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Center is located in Terminal E within Roissy Airport. If you arrive from another city in France or another country, it is rather well indicated, which saves you from having to ask people who are very often pretty grumpy … You are in Paris eh … But then, you will quickly forget that you are in an international hub to focus on the comfort of your room and its improbable silence.

The staff has always been professional and efficient during check-in and check-out. We never waited upon arrival and the staff has always been available and helpful.

We tried to dine at the Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Center one evening, however, for a vegan meal, it really isn’t worth it. It is better to do some shopping at Paris-Charles De Gaulle 2E airport at Marks & Spencer. You will find a lot of vegan options there and can eat quietly in your room or in the lounge if you have access to it.

Our family experience

Lili-Fleur dans la chambre

Which room with a child?

With the whole family, choose the Junior Suite which offers you a Club lounge access and above all, a really spacious room with a large convertible sofa. Ours was on the corner, which was absolutely great because we overlooked the airstrips. Located far from the other rooms, it was also extremely quiet.

The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub, which you will love between two take-offs. The shower gel is in capsules, which allows you to choose a different scent for each person: we are not going to lie, we all loved this concept.

The princess loved

The princess is still telling us about our last stay at the Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Center. She loves a lot of things in this hotel. The bright stars on the walls in the corridors which she finds a bit magical, seeing the planes landing and taking off, especially at night, having access to the Club lounge where she can nibble, and then quite simply the atmosphere. After all … the next day … we’re taking off!

On the plus side …

What about breakfast?

The restaurant Les Etoiles welcomes you for breakfast which can be taken very early (from 6.30 am) due to constant flights. There, you will find a very rich buffet breakfast, with lots of fruit and you should manage, without too much trouble, to eat a balanced breakfast even if you are vegan. The staff is relatively efficient. It is a very large room, so don’t wait for a waiter/waitress and make your own breakfast.

You also have Ladurée (500 meters away) if you’d rather an express check-out.

We’ll be back for …

We’ll be back soon, that’s for sure! Maybe just for the pleasure of living this magic moment together. This trip before the trip. This moment of grace when we are all seated on the princess’s sofa bed, and we watch the planes landing and taking off at night.

At the hotel

The Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Center has a fitness center open 24 hours a day, every day. It is not ultra modern, but it can allow you to stretch your legs.

Close to your hotel

If you really have a lot of time before your next flight, you can always plan a day at Disneyland Paris. And if, like us, you only spend one night there, we recommend that you buy magazines for a fun evening overlooking the airstrips.
