A few years ago in Bordeaux, it’s true … it was relatively difficult to say “What about an afternoon at the museum with the children?” But, fortunately for us, since the princess was born, things have changed a lot. And among our favorite museums in Bordeaux, there is Cap Sciences and also the Museum of Bordeaux.

Absolutely fascinating, Robots is a very fun and interesting exhibition from July 10, 2019 to May 3, 2020 at Cap Sciences.

Cap Sciences regularly hosts wonderful exhibitions for the whole family. And among all the ones we’ve seen, Robots remains one of our favorites. Although it is mentioned that it is intended for children 7 years of age and older, the princess just loved it even though she was only 5 years old.

Get to know the very first robots, simple robots or downright sophisticated ones. Robots that interact or perform only a repetitive task … You will even be able to be guided through the exhibition by one of these robots. Impressive, this exhibition at Cap Sciences is above all particularly interactive.

We STRONGLY recommend that you book your tickets. Indeed, this exhibition is very popular and its many facilities make it really exciting. You will be able to try to get a ball into a hole with a robot that plays golf, but also attend the trial of a robot: will you be among those who think he is guilty? Other interactive games should really please you (like playing tic-tac-toe with a robot ;))

Parents are just as fascinated as their children by this technology that can make you smile, impress or even look scary. In any case, you will love it.

A must do

Take the time to attend the trial of the robot who is judged because he has given the wrong medicine to the child he is in charge of (well, for us, it’s not really his fault!)

The princess loved

The princess loved the interactivity of this exhibition: playing golf, playing tic-tac-toe, pressing buttons, interacting with a robot that follows you throughout the exhibition …

The ups for kids

Your kids are over 8 years old

They will be able to take full advantage of all the exhibition. Tell them the role of each of the robots, but also show them what the first robots looked like a long time ago …

They will like to interact, read and above all, obviously participate in the discussions that this exhibition generates. Moreover, they are invited to do so during the trial of the robot whose lawyer, also a robot, is with them in the room.

Your kids are less than 8 years old

While some kids may be impressed, the princess really felt at home. Explain the role of robots in our society and let them touch and play. Even the little ones understand very quickly how to interact with the robots of this exhibition in Cap Sciences.
